Cassidy A. Lee, M.L.I.S., M.Ed.

Cassidy A. Lee is an experienced educator, writer, and editor with a robust background in English language arts, library science, and instructional technology. With 20 years of experience in education, she holds advanced degrees, including an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and an M.S. in Library and Information Studies, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction.

A certified teacher and former library director, Cassidy blends instructional expertise with resource management to support both learners and educators. She currently serves as a graduate assistant, teaching foundational education courses to undergraduate students, further demonstrating her commitment to shaping the next generation of educators.

In July 2020, Cassidy published her first book, Finding Peace During the Healing Process, marking the beginning of her journey as an author and publishing professional. Since then, she has expanded her work to include book coaching, editing, and branding services, guiding writers through every stage of the publishing process. As the founder of Cassidy A. Lee Press, LLC, she specializes in editing and full book production, offering developmental editing, publishing consultations, and marketing support to aspiring and established authors.

Cassidy’s passion for mentoring extends beyond publishing. She is the host of a free-to-join writing accountability and critique group, where she leverages her extensive teaching and editorial expertise to support writers in refining their craft. Through structured feedback, accountability measures, and a welcoming environment, she helps writers gain confidence, improve their work, and navigate the creative process.

Additionally, she organizes writing workshops and courses designed to support writers at various stages of their literary journeys. These structured programs provide the tools, guidance, and peer support necessary for participants to develop their skills, complete projects, and navigate the publishing process successfully.

Beyond her mentorship work, Cassidy is also a book reviewer for the Author Marketing Experts (AME) Book Reviewer Program and a volunteer content writer and editor for WOC+Lib.

Cassidy’s professional affiliations reflect her deep commitment to literacy, creative arts, and education. She is a member of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), The American Library Association (ALA), Associated Professional Educators of Louisiana (A+PEL), the Black Writers Collective, and The Authors Guild.

Through her diverse roles in education, publishing, and literary advocacy, Cassidy remains dedicated to fostering a culture of learning, creativity, inclusivity, and community building.
